Many of these photos were taken in 2026 with the exception is the May September, October, November and December photos. The January photo was taken on the morning of January 20th during a phenomenal Northern Lights show.  The February photo shows a hail/snow pellet shower over Snohomish County. The March photo shows the top of Mount Pilchuck after some fresh snow. The summer month feature 3 separate wildfires that we covered. The June photo shows the Tulcannon Fire near Pomeroy. The July photo features the Kaiser Canyon Fire pyrocumulous. The August phot shows the Little Giant Fire to the north of Fish Lake with stars overhead. The September photo was taken underneath a thunderstorm in the Snohomish River Valley last year. The October photo was also taken in the Snohohomish River Valley last year. The November photo was taken at Cape Disappointment during a storm last year. The December photo was taken during the historic December floods. The photo shows the flooded Snohomish River Valley at sunset by drone.
